- Depends on age. If the unit is over 15 years old, the gasket and glass seal are at end of life and a replacement is usually the smarter spend. Newer units are almost always a flashing issue we can fix in a few hours.

- What about bubble or plastic skylights?
- We don't install them. They yellow and crack within about a decade. We replace them with low-E glass units, better light, fewer leaks, manufacturer-backed coverage.
